The suburban Denver area saw the top luxury home sale so far this year with the $7 million sale of 7 Cherry Hills Park Drive, a 19,555 square foot home that was built in 2001. The house has been recognized as a top national architectural home and is featured in many coffee table books, according to the real estate agent who sold the home, Sandy Weigand of Kentwood Real Estate. The home has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms and sits on about 3 acres of land, or roughly 131,072 square feet. The Cherry Hills movers have found that the property also has a pool, pool house, gardens, a guest cottage and an attached five car garage.
The property was listed on MLS for 400 days, but it’s been reported that the home was under contract since early 2012, with the delay caused by the previous owners who wouldn’t sell without completing their new home.
